Results from the Wall Street train station study are coming down the tracks, according to Kevin Nursick, Connecticut Department of Transportation Director of Communications.
In July 2018, the State Bond Commission approved $250,000 for a study on the feasibility of a Wall Street train station. The following year, Mayor Harry Rilling mentioned this as something that was still on the way, stating in September 2019 that the State was “planning” to do the study. ....

Norwalk Zoners approve BMHS softball field

NORWALK, Conn. The City is free to begin construction on a new softball field at Brien McMahon High School, even if neighbors are not persuaded that the lights won’t be shining into their homes.
“This is a beautiful street, a beautiful community. And it’s going to be destroyed by that dome of light that is going to sit there,” James Wehrle said Wednesday, unsuccessfully trying to convince the Norwalk Zoning Commission not to approve the field and its 60-foot-tall light poles. ....
