Chris Harrison, the host of The Bachelor, is the latest victim to succumb to the cancel culture demon. What is the terrible thing he said that caused the gutless producers of the television show to fall into lockstep with the witch hunters and fire him? He had the temerity to defend a contestant who was criticized for appearing three years ago (when she was 18) in a group picture that was reminiscent of the Antebellum south. Are you kidding? Whatever happened to the First Amendment? Are we inexorably heading toward censorship in this country? What is really sad about this debacle is that Harrison apologized.
