Une œuvre magistrale qui fera date
Beaucoup de larmes ont coulé, tant l émotion était forte à l église du château, à Felletin, en découvrant la tapisserie monumentale de Rirkritt Travanija, un artiste thaïlandais qui se partage entre Berlin et New-York.
Le bonheur n est pas drôle, 4,10 mètres sur 10,24 mètres, venait de tomber de métier à la Manufacture Pinton. Mais, seule l église felletinoise, du fait des dimensions hors normes, permettait de pleinement découvrir l œuvre événementielle.
La cérémonie felletinoise est suivie cette fin de semaine d une autre beaucoup moins intime ! La Fondation Luma ( ), qui était représentée à Felletin notamment par sa présidente Maja Hoffmann et son état-major, inaugure en effet Luma Arles, un projet de complexe artistique et culturel dont l architecte est Frank Gehry. Ouverte au public en 2018, elle est officiellement inaugurée ce 26 juin. ....

Known for its Roman arenas, the city of Arles was enriched on Saturday with a new monument: a tower with metallic reflections 56 meters high designed by architect Frank Gehry, beacon of the vast creative campus of the Luma Foundation of the Swiss patron Maja Hoffmann.
