The Lisbon race, which starts from the 25 de Abril Bridge, in Almada, was reschedule for the fourth time, after being scheduled for 22 March and 6 September, 2020 and for 9 May and 12 September, 2021. The 21,097.5 km race, which has run out of registrations since the first scheduled date, will take place on Sunday, 21 November, and the popular events, mini-marathon and 10 kilometers, will be disputed the day before, on 20 November. ....

Besides these two races, also on the list is the Luso half-marathon (Vasco da Gama Bridge), which is held on the same day as the Portuguese capital’s marathon, on 17 October. In total, there are 191 races, in 49 different countries, to receive the ‘seal of approval’ of the international federation of the sport, starting already on 31 January in Japan, with the Osaka women’s marathon. ....
