LIVONIA, Mich. – Police have canceled the search for missing 13-year-old Nicholas Oliver Sunday evening after he had been found and returned home safely.
ORIGINAL STORY:
According to authorities, Nicholas was last seen at a home just south of the intersection of Five Mile Road and Arcola Street, where he got into a fight with his sister and fled the location on foot.

Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and two vaccination cards in her pocket while working at the TCF Center on Monday (March 15).

Detroit police officers were called to the third floor of the building around 1:50 p.m. Monday to investigate the alleged incident.
Another nurse saw Elahi put the vaccines in her pocket and reported it immediately, according to authorities. Elahi was working for a contractor and had been hired to administer the vaccine to Detroiters. ....

DETROIT (AP) A woman whom city officials described as a nurse has been charged in the theft of COVID-19 vaccines from a downtown Detroit convention center where mass vaccinations are taking place.
Saeedeh Elahi, 41, of Livonia, a Detroit suburb, was expected to be arraigned Wednesday on one count of larceny in a building, the Wayne County prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
Two syringes filled with the Moderna vaccine and two vaccination cards were taken Monday afternoon, the prosecutor’s office said.
The statement did not say Elahi works as a nurse, but city officials earlier said a nurse staffing COVID-19 vaccinations at the TCF Center was detained by police on suspicion of stealing two doses of the vaccine. The woman was stopped after another staff member at the TCF Center saw her take two syringes, Detroit Chief Operating Officer Hakim Berry said. ....

LIVONIA, Mich. – Social workers will be sent out with Livonia police officers when officers are responding to a mental health crisis call through a new Crisis Support Team.
“We’re going to have two social workers in our police department to assist us with handling mental health crisis runs where people are in crisis and they need our help and they need the public’s help,” Livonia police Captain Tom Goralski said.
The program has been in the works for a while, but Goralski said it is needed now more than ever. ....
