She continued her education at Continental Cosmotology and Beauty School in Syracuse. She married Paul E. Kellam in 1946. He predeceased her on July 8, 2013. ....

Elinor was born on October 30, 1925, in Potsdam, the daughter of the late Leslie and Maude (Randall) Bump. She attended rural schools in Parishville before graduating from Parishville High School. She continued her education at Continental Cosmetology and Beauty School in Syracuse. She married Paul E. Kellam in 1946. He predeceased her on July 8, 2013. Elinor was a keen businesswoman. She enjoyed a long career as a beautician, practicing until she was 91 years of age. She owned and managed Elinor’s Beauty Shop, rental properties, and helped out with Kellam’s Electric. Elinor was active in the community. ....
Steuben County s 4-day average of COVID-19 cases encouraging County notes decline in new cases, has just over 500 active cases Staff reports BATH Steuben County s rate of new COVID-19 cases continued to slow in recent days. The Steuben County Public Health Department reported Tuesday that 109 Steuben County residents tested positive for COVID-19 since Friday s update. At times during the pandemic, the county has added over 100 cases per day. “This four day average of cases is very encouraging,” said Public Health Director Darlene Smith. “However, many case investigations over the weekend noted individuals that continued to work or socialize while symptomatic. Please continue to be diligent in efforts to slow the spread. If feeling unwell, be mindful about getting tested and not going to social gatherings, work, or other public locations where the spread could continue.” ....
