The local health unit has recently been surveying area residents in an effort to better understand the source of their reluctance.
Catton said one factor that is worrying to some is the quick timelines of approval these vaccines received.
Catton said there is a misperception the vaccines were rushed out without the usual time taken for testing and evaluation.
