THIEVES have stolen a large banner praising NHS staff and other key workers for their incredible work during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 6ft vinyl banner - part of a fundraising campaign by Southampton West Rotary Club - was taken from outside a house at Hill Lane.
Club spokesman Derek Kelly said: We couldn t work out why anyone would want to steal a banner - it s not a very charitable thing to do.
It s beyond belief that there are people out there who are prepared to do anything as despicable as that.
The banner, which was attached to a wooden fence, was made by signwriter Peter Green. ....
