St Germans couple continue to raise awareness of miscarriages with new challenge Published: 09:00, 01 January 2021 Ever since losing a baby in 2018, a West Norfolk woman has been raising awareness of miscarriages and support for the bereaved. Jo Patrick, of St Germans, is an ambassador for Coping and Living with Miscarriage (CALM), and has launched a new fundraising campaign. Alongside her partner Steve, Miss Patrick is encouraging people to take part in the âAKA Stepping Up For The MAâ challenge. Celebrating anniversary of maternity unit at King s Lynn hospital Lynn hospital staff were celebrating the fifth birthday of the maternity unit this week. The midwifery-led Waterlily Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital was formally opened in 2015 by the then High Sheriff of Norfolk, Nicholas Pratt. Since its launch, the Waterlily has welcomed 1,777 babies into the world. The fifth birthday of the Waterlily Unit was celebrated this week. Christmas donation from Freebridge for King s Lynn Maternity Bereavement Suite Appeal | Updated: 10:43, 11 December 2020 Freebridge Community Housing has shown its support for Lynnâs Maternity Bereavement Suite with a generous festive donation. The housing provider has been hosting an âAdvent Calendarâ for employees with an activity, prize giveaway or some other type of festive fun behind each daily door.
