His face is out of focus and his eyes shadowy, but heâs clearly looking at the camera. At us. Overlaying the image is bold-face text: âBecause of inequity, Black, brown and Native people have been the most impacted by COVID-19! THIS MUST BE CHANGED!!!â ....
BOSTON Visitors to a new exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts are encouraged to “look carefully” at the singular paintings of Paul Cezanne to fathom the stylistic intricacies of the trailblazing artist whose work bridged the 19th and 20th centuries. As part of its 150th anniversary celebration, the museum is displaying 12 paintings by Cezanne (1839–1906) in “visual dialogues” with other contemporary French masters. The “Cezanne: In and Out of Time” exhibit is an exciting and instructive look at what made him special.
