(WWBT) - Dozens of Henrico police officers and county employees laced up their running shoes to honor the late Captain Donald Lambert with a âHeroâs Workout.â Captain Donald L. Lambert, Jr. was a 33-year veteran with the Henrico County Police Division. Police said Lambert, who served on the agencyâs special operations group, was killed in late February during a hit-and-run accident. A Chesterfield man is currently waiting trail in connection to Lambertâs death. ....

But for 100-year-old Hilda Ford, one uniformed friend has remained a constant. âIâm always excited to see her,â said Ford. âLike I said she is like my granddaughter.â Lt. Col. Linda Toney and Fordâs friendship stretches back nearly 30 years. The vaccinated pair was reunited recently. Carol J. Moen Age 85 formerly of Pequot Lakes, MN passed away January 10, 2021 due to COVID. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Paula, sister, Shirley and brother, Harlow. Survived by children: Dave; Linda (Donnie); Michele (Barry); Dana (Lars); and Erin; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Carol had a passion for reading and learning. One of her proudest moments was when she received her Bachelor’s Degree from California State University Dominquez at the age of 60. She enjoyed volunteering and helping charities. She loved to laugh, especially reading the Sunday comics. Private interment. Memorials preferred to American Cancer Society. ....
