Wire-haired dachshund Charlie is thought to be one of seven dogs to have suffered a shock in Tonteg, Rhondda Cynon Taf. Owner Martin Pitman said he thought Charlie was gone when he was hurt on Saturday. Western Power Distribution said it had disconnected a nearby house after finding faulty internal wiring. The property had no earth wiring or trip switches which had a caused a voltage gradient fault - or current flow - to earth outside the property, a spokeswoman said. ....
