FEEL gets new chairman after 20 years

THE Foundation for the Enhancement and Enrichment of Life (FEEL) has a new chairman for the first time since 2000, with Prof Sterling Frost replacing long-time head David Dulal-Whiteway.
FEEL s CEO Elena Villafana-Sylvester issued a statement welcoming Frost to the organisation, which was established by Clive Pantin in 1992 to partner with organisations and communities in the areas of poverty alleviation, disaster relief, recovery education and capacity-building, and medical support.
The reconstituted board also includes Amjad Ali, Anthony Hosang, Alain Laquis, Kristian Govia, Mark Carmino, Marlene Chin, Richard Lewis, Wendell Constantine and Villafana-Sylvester, all of whom Villafana-Sylvester said offer valuable perspectives, well-established records of business accomplishments and extensive service to local communities,

HADCO Phase II Pan Groove’s virtual concert Another Phase has received rave reviews from patrons despite a mix-up that caused a few to miss the show.
The approximately two-hour, pre-recorded show was originally scheduled to be broadcast on January 27 but was moved to January 31 to accommodate supporters who were not aware of the cut-off time.
All-girl vocal group Voix Riches entertains patrons.

The line-up for the concert by the seven-time Panorama champs included its musical director and pan icon Len “Boogsie” Sharpe, Nailah Blackman, Olatunji, saxophonist Romaro Greaves, pannists Joshua Regrello, Johann Chuckaree, and his sister, classical pianist Johanna Chuckaree, trumpeter Etienne Charles, champion arranger Duvonne Stewart, The Lydian Singers and Voix Riches, an all-girl vocal group from San Fernando.

HADCO Phase II Pan Groove captain Terry Bernard is promising patrons that Sunday s virtual concert, Another Phase, will be epic.
He said the approximately two-hour, pre-recorded show was originally scheduled to be broadcast on January 27 but was moved to January 31 to accommodate supporters who were not aware of the cut-off time and had waited until the last minute. We apologise for moving the show, he said to Newsday in a telephone interview Thursday.
