Funds needed for baby boy fighting for life after pregnant woman killed in Birmingham crash Updated 10:25 AM; Iderrika Patryce Finley, who also went by Iderrika Callens, died Monday in a rollover crash on Interstate 59/29 in Birmingham. Within hours, doctors delivered her baby, Dallas, in an emergency C-section. Not due until May 25, Dallas was born 18 inches long and weighing 5 pounds and 7 ½ ounces. The 24-year-old pharmacy technician was on her way to work at CVS when she called her mother in a panic, saying that the brakes were failing on her Toyota 4Runner. Shortly before 10 a.m. Monday, Iderrika Finley called her mom, who was also her best friend, in a panic. Iderrika was on the interstate on her way to work and the brakes were seemingly failing on her Toyota 4 Runner. A CVS pharmacy technician who was to give birth next month, Iderrika was traveling northbound on Interstate 59/20 when she called her mother. “She was telling me, ‘The truck won’t stop, the truck won’t stop. Help me, Mommy, help me,’’ Finley said. “Then I heard a scream and a crash, and I didn’t hear anything else.” ....
