Electrical fire disrupts services at GAIA Article by July 3, 2021 Though not heavily impacted, an electrical fire at the Grantley Adams International Airport during the passage of Hurricane Elsa, has resulted in a disruption of services. Speaking during Saturday’s update post Hurricane Elsa, Minister of Tourism Senator Lisa Cummings said while no significant damage was done to the port of entry, operations were still not back to normal. “The airport withstood the hurricane well, we did not have any infrastructural damage except at an auxiliary facility, which is the Civil Aviation Training Centre, but we subsequently did experience water damage coming through one of the areas, which resulted in an electrical fire in the airport facility,” Cummings said. ....

The event begins on Sunday, July 20 at 7 p.m. and ends on Saturday, June 26. After Sunday, events will run from 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Lisa Cummings, the mother of Cade and Wyatt, said 13-year-old Cade will compete in tie-down roping, team roping, ribbon roping and goat tying, and is currently scheduled to have eight different performances. She said 12-year-old Wyatt will compete in light rifle shooting. Paige, 13 and Lisa’s niece, will compete in breakaway roping, ribbon roping and team roping. ....
