Sunday, May 16, 2021 Phyllis Ward went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2021. She was born in Westpoint Mississippi, to Colonel Phillip Ray Goynes and Mrs. Tessie Mae Goynes. She went to Baylor University and later attended LSU to get a Master’s degree in social work. She retired from the Feliciana Forensic Facility for the criminally insane. She enjoyed painting and reading in her spare time and always took a moment to verbally bless anyone that she saw. She loved people and wanted people to be blessed. We want to thank Premier Hospice for their care for the 12 weeks. Thank you Stephanie for caring for her when she needed you the most. Thank you to all of the CNA’s and nurses at Alpine Skilled Nursing and Rehab. Thank you Jessica, Gina, Shayla, and Sho. Thank you two her special angels Jillian and Sylvia. She loved you both dearly, more than you will ever know.
