Phyllis Ward went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2021. She was born in Westpoint Mississippi, to Colonel Phillip Ray Goynes and Mrs. Tessie Mae Goynes. She went to Baylor University and later attended LSU to get a Master’s degree in social work.
She retired from the Feliciana Forensic Facility for the criminally insane. She enjoyed painting and reading in her spare time and always took a moment to verbally bless anyone that she saw. She loved people and wanted people to be blessed.
