LINCOLN, IL – Lincoln College is launching a new Bachelor of Arts in Music degree beginning Fall 2021. The new degree is the latest major added to Lincoln College’s growing list of programs available for bachelor degree students.
“This degree is particularly exciting because the program allows students to choose from two paths: Music Performance and Production and Music Business and Production. The Bachelor of Arts in Music degree is practical, modern, and designed to transition students directly into careers,” said Lincoln College President David Gerlach.
Lincoln College determined that a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree would be a good fit for Lincoln College and designed a curriculum that will focus on modern production technology and business, along with traditional performance opportunities.

William Bill Gossett was honored with an Associate of Arts degree at Lincoln College s Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 8 in Lincoln, Illinois at the age of 97.
Gossett is a U.S. Army veteran, community leader and volunteer, outstanding Lincoln College supporter, and a successful retired businessman.

Gossett first came to Lincoln College in 1941 for his education, before transferring to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His educational journey was cut short upon learning of the attacks on Pearl Harbor in December of 1941. LINCOLN, Ill., April 5, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Students in Lincoln College s Radio, Television and New Media program won national honors for their entries in the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System award ceremony in February.
Four students- Zaknafein Luken of Lincoln, Spencer Davis of Emden, Adam Hoffman of Springfield, and Sarah Lee of Decatur competed with entries from across the country to bring home three first-place awards, beating out larger universities such as Auburn and Texas A&M.
