The first public COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Pembroke is being called a success after approximately 600 people received their first dose March 12 at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.
Pre-regisration is required for the clinics, with only certain groups eligible to receive the vaccine. Currently that is residents who are 80 years of age and older (born in 1941 or earlier); Indigenous residents (on and off reserve) who are 55 years of age and older (born in 1966 or earlier); retirement home health-care workers and essential caregiver ....
