They also deserve class sizes that don’t wreck their work-life balance, affordable health care, mental health support and meaningful professional development. This is Teacher Appreciation Week, and while we can’t immediately fix these larger issues, we can show teachers and support staff respect, care, empathy and kindness. ....
Apr 21, 2021 EAST LIVERPOOL Monday afternoon, April 19, 2021, Rosemarie Ensinger went home to be with her Lord Jesus. Born April 1, 1930, Rosemarie was the seventh child of Emmett and Bertha Campbell Green. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1948, and married Kenneth Ensinger in 1951. Rosemarie and Kenneth spent fifty years together until Kenneth’s passing in 2001. Their two children are Stephen and Lisa Ensinger, both of East Liverpool. Rosemarie worked for Ohio Bell for more than thirty years in East Liverpool and Steubenville. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, a board member, choir member, Sunday School teacher, and she was a representative of the Nazarene Women’s Missionary Society. She currently attended Northside Community Church. She was a Telephone Pioneer member and served in several capacities for the East Liverpool school system, as a reading volunteer at LaCroft Elementary, a member of the PTA, and of the Kiwanis Scholar� ....

Feb 8, 2021 EAST LIVERPOOL –Beverly J. Ade, age 90, passed away at East Liverpool City Hospital on Thursday, February 4, 2021 after a brief illness. Born in East Liverpool on October 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Kelsey “Ted” and Esther Ruth (Amos) Hanselman, and attended East Liverpool High School and had lived her entire life in this area as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Ade, on November 30, 2013. They were married on March 17, 1950. She is survived by nephews, Sterling Hanselman and his wife, Nancy, of East Liverpool and Thomas Hanselman and his wife, Suzanne, of Amhurst, N.Y. and several great nieces and nephews. ....
