Meet the 24 Fellows of Cartier s 2021 Women s Initiative

Cartier is serious about supporting female business owners. Of the 876 applicants from 142 countries, the storied luxury brand has selected a group of 24 fellows to take part in the 2021 edition of its Women s Initiative and for the first time since the program s inception in 2006, the brand will be spotlighting the impact of women entrepreneurs from Mali, Iraq, and Myanmar. The regional finalists from North America are Rebecca Hui, Ellington West, and Sabina Bharwani.

Twelve MIT student affiliates have won fellowships for the Fulbright 2021-22 grant year. Their host country destinations include Brazil, Iceland, India, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Spain, and Taiwan, where they will conduct research, earn a graduate degree, or teach English.
