A DAILY run around Duloch in a Spider-Man mask has transformed into a £71,000 fundraiser and spot on TV for Dave Roper. The father-of-two was tricked into an appearance on BBC’s The One Show last week as friends, family and members of the local community pulled off quite the surprise. The 37-year-old was asked by Laura Spence, the head of Duloch PS and Calaiswood School, to visit Calais Woods last Tuesday to film a ‘Fife Council’ video to promote World Book Day. Dressed up in his Spider-Man guise, Dave started to read from the comic boards in Laura’s hands before the superhero was revealed to be none other than Dave himself. ....
