1/1 A SECONDARY school is providing more than 150 families with hampers packed with high-quality food - amid widespread criticism of the quantity of some parcels being sent to children across the country during lockdown. Thomas Hardye School in Dorchester is providing food parcels to families from four schools who would normally receive free school meals. The hampers, which include two kilograms of potatoes, one kilogram of carrots, four bananas, four apples, two onions, a kilogram of meat, cheese, pasta, rice, baked beans, chopped tomatoes and 10 free range eggs, cost roughly £16 per child per week, and are partly funded by the government and partly funded by the school. ....
