According to the Lancaster County-Wide Communications supervisor, four people were involved in the crash located on 20 Corner Ketch Road. The accident occurred at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday. The four patients were treated by EMS and transported to the hospital. The supervisor said the coroner was not called to the scene of the accident.

What happened: Borough Council will consider a request from Lancaster County-Wide Communications to remove a radio tower behind its municipal building at 300 St. Catherine St. in Quarryville.
Background: Lancaster County-Wide Communications, the countyâs centralized 911 dispatcher and emergency service provider, has requested to remove a tower behind the municipal building. The tower was once used to deliver telecommunications to police and firefighters across the borough. This tower is currently not in use and in need of repairs. Although borough officials reached out to several cellphone companies about a potential lease agreement, Borough Manager Scott Peiffer said there is no interest in leasing the tower at this time.
There were a plethora of incidents involving fallen trees, downed cables and power outages Friday in Lancaster County as winds reached up to 64 mph in certain areas as part of a storm expected to continue into Saturday morning.
At one point â around 5:30 p.m. â there were about 21,000 PPL customers without power, according to Jane George, regional affairs director for PPL. That number was down to 1,121 at 7:15 p.m., George said. We had strong, damaging winds that were causing power outages throughout our entire service territory, George said. We re working around the clock as safely and quickly as possible to restore power to customers who have experienced outages.
