Man found bleeding on Lancaster County road likely struck by car: police Updated Dec 20, 2020; Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department officials said Sunday they are continuing the investigation into the incident that occurred around 7 a.m. Friday near Route 501 and East Newport Road in Warwick Township. Due to his condition and the need for emergency treatment, the injured man could not be questioned at the time, but police on Sunday said the 54-year-old man, who remains hospitalized, was likely struck by a vehicle. Evidence collected at the scene and his recollection in subsequent interviews led to police investigate the incident as a hit-and-run, authorities say.
