DHR International Assists Northwestern University in Landing New Athletic Director
Athletic directors are playing an increasingly vital role at colleges and universities across the country. In a search assignment led by Glenn Sugiyama, DHR placed former NCAA inclusion executive Derrick Gragg as the new athletic director for Big Ten’s Northwestern University. June 9, 2021 – Universities continue to turn to executive search firms to find new athletic directors. Chicago-based DHR International recently assisted Northwestern University in the recruitment of Derrick Gragg as the Combe Family vice president for athletics & recreation. He succeeds Mike Polisky, who resigned as the university’s athletic director last month. EVANSTON, Ill., May 27, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Por Adela, a smart fleet management startup, is the winning team at VentureCat, Northwestern University s annual student startup competition powered by the Levy Institute for Entrepreneurial Practice and co-sponsored by Lanny and Sharon Martin. The top 25 semifinalist teams competed for more than $300,000 in non-dilutive prize money on May 26, 2021.
VentureCat hosted 30 distinguished venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and industry experts as judges from Boston to Denver to Silicon Valley to evaluate startups from five industry tracks: Business Products and Services, Consumer Products and Services, Energy and Sustainability, Life Sciences and Medical Innovations, and Social Impact. The winner of each track in the semifinals, and one wildcard team, competed for the finals prizes:

A few days ago two back-to-back emails popped up on my screen â the first from the Denver Art Museum and the second from the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College.
The FACâs missive announced a summer show featuring âforty-eight works from renowned photographer Ansel Adamsâ Museum Set, a series which he felt best represented his lifeâs work.â The traveling show was âorganized by Turtle Bay Exploration Park, Redding, CA, in association with Landau Traveling Exhibitions, Los Angeles, CA.â Itâll be up from May 26 to Sept. 4.Â
Created more than a decade ago, the show is well traveled, having been exhibited in scores of small museum venues throughout the country (including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Fort Collins in 2011 and the Foothills Arts Center in Golden in 2016).
