LOCK HAVEN Susquehanna Greenway River Towns across the region were alive with volunteers last week in celebration of Earth Day and the inaugural 2021 Susquehanna Greenway River Towns Cleanup. Over the course of the week of April 18 25, 2021, six river towns organized events that attracted hundreds of volunteers and collectively removed thousands of pounds of trash from area parks, trails, and communities along the Susquehanna River. ....

As the executive director of the nonprofit Susquehanna Greenway Partnership (SGP) based in Lewisburg, she knows first-hand how important the greenway is to the 500-mile river corridor that encompasses 23 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties. ....
