Tory bosses 'withdraw funding from Shaun Bailey's London Mayor campaign against Sadiq Khan'


London mayor hopeful Shaun Bailey has brushed off claims Tory chiefs have cut funding from his campaign. 
Mr Bailey vowed to keep fighting Labour incumbent Sadiq Khan ahead of the key elections in May despite questions over whether the party is still giving him full support.
There are reports that Conservative Central Office has decided to withdraw funding from Mr Bailey s campaign because of the London Assembly member s struggles to raise money on his own.
Sniping has emerged including an extraordinary jibe that the party sees Mr Bailey as the worst candidate in history , but only has the option of withdrawing funding because it is too late to get rid of him .  ....

India has called the remarks by foreign leaders and organisations on protests by farmers as “ill-informed” and “unwarranted”, asserting that the matter pertains to the internal affairs of a democratic country.
British Parliament’s Petitions Committee will consider a Westminster Hall debate in the House of Commons complex on the issue of farmers protests and press freedom in India after an online petition attracted over 1,06,000 signatures.
While the list of signatories for the e-petition also reflects a signature of Boris Johnson, in his capacity as a west London Conservative Party member of Parliament, Downing Street on Wednesday categorically denied that the U.K. Prime Minister had signed the petition. ....
