A man in his 20s died following a three-vehicle collision on the M1 motorway yesterday morning near Moira. The man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the Co Down crash, which occurred on the westbound carriageway close to the Moira roundabout off slip at around 4.45am. Two other people travelling in the same car were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening. The driver of the third vehicle was not injured. The M1 between Lough Road, Lurgan, and the Moira roundabout was closed in both directions until 3.30pm as the PSNI carried out an investigation into the cause of the fatal collision, resulting in long traffic delays in the Moira and Lurgan areas. ....
