Gardaí investigating allegations of corrupt practices at the Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board (ETB) have made their ninth arrest. The latest person held for questioning is a man in his 50s who was arrested on Friday morning. The man was arrested by detectives from the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau and was being questioned “as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged corrupt practices at statutory body”. “The man is currently detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act at Naas Garda station.
