Robert Stevie Lawrence, Torque Wrench ,67, of Avenue, MD passed away on February 19, 2021 in Washington, DC. Born on October 4, 1953 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the loving son of Rosemary Lawrence, and the late Francis McQue Lawrence. Stevie was the loving husband of Anna Gail Guy Lawrence, whom he married on August 3, 1974, in St. Joseph s Catholic Church Morganza, MD. Stevie is survived by his siblings Gwen Tarantola (Mike) of Mechanicsville, MD, Mac Lawrence (Kathy) of Clements, MD, Ida Abell (B.K.) of Mechanicsville, MD, and Tina Graves (Glenn) of Bushwood, MD. He was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Wathen. He was a lifelong St. Mary s County, MD resident and graduated from Chopticon High School in 1971. Stevie was the Station Chief at the Patuxent River Fire Department for 25 years, retiring in October 2004. He was the owner and operator of Pull & Tug Enterprises in Avenue, MD.
