(MENAFN - The Peninsula) The Peninsula Doha: The final declarations for the international races of the Amir Sword Festival have been issued featuring quality runners. The $4.34m Festival takes place at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) Al Rayyan Park in Doha from tomorrow until Saturday with the Amir Sword and the Amir Trophy as the key clashes among its international section. QREC Chairman Issa bin Mohammed Al Mohannadi stressed the magnificence of the Festival and lauded the role of the sponsors. The Amir Sword Festival is the most prestigious and glamorous equestrian event, not only in QREC, but in Qatar in general as well, Al Mohannadi said. ....

Telcom and ESB Telecoms have today (15 December) announced that they will join forces to offer high-speed fibre connectivity of up to 1Gbps to enterprises nationwide. The service will be made available to up to 16,000 businesses across 13 urban networks, with an initial focus on Dublin, Cork and Galway.
