Peter Lewis, who was first elected to council in 2012, is re-offering in the upcoming municipal elections. Lewis has lived in the Kennebecasis Valley town for nearly three decades. He pointed to some of council’s past accomplishments, including maintaining the tax rate for nine years and implementing a new EMO plan. If re-elected, Lewis said some of his priorities would be maintaining a stable tax rate for residents, working with council to donate a building lot to Habitat for Humanity, and moving forward on the Rothesay Arena renovation. ....
