LFC Foundation and Cadbury bring festive cheer to local care home residents LFC Foundation and Cadbury have teamed up to bring some festive cheer to care home residents and those in need in Liverpool ahead of Christmas.
The club’s official global chocolate partner provided 400 Christmas-themed Dairy Milk bars as part of its recent Secret Santa Campaign, which participants from LFC Foundation’s #iWill programme sent on to local care homes and community groups alongside a personalised, hand-drawn Christmas message.
Seven local care homes received the special festive envelopes this week, as well as homeless charity, Whitechapel Centre, and a refuge centre for local women and children.
“He also volunteered at Roxburghe House in Aberdeen during his spare time, which he thoroughly enjoyed doing.”
Flowers left at Stonehaven Railway Station after the train crash.
Mandy Urquhart, who manages volunteers at Roxburgh House, said: “Chris really was a man much loved by all who knew him.
“He was incredibly caring, fun-loving, genuine and kind.
“His compassion and understanding brought him through the doors of Roxburghe House nine years ago, to help others at their time of need.
“Since then he has become a familiar, and regular, face on the ward with his tea trolley and in our coffee bar.
