RHINEBECK, N.Y. â One person was injured after her car broke a utility pole in half after striking it on state Route 9G in the town on Christmas morning, Rhinebeck Fire Chief Kyle Eighmy said Saturday. At about 8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 25, the Rhinebeck Fire Department responded to the area of 2747 Route 9G and found the car with the driver trapped inside, Eighmy said.
