A celebration of environmental films, it may seem like a stretch for Ross until you see one title that is a nod to his previous ventures: “Slaxx,” a horror comedy about a pair of killer jeans.

CNS photo/Beck Diefenbach, Reuters March 3, 2021 A recent report shows that the Good Shepherd’s Youth Reconnect (YR) program has reduced the number of at-risk Hamilton, Ont., youth accessing shelter and other emergency services. Supporting Youth at Risk of Homelessness: An Evaluation of Hamilton’s Youth Reconnect Program authored by Rachel Caplan, John Ecker, Jennifer Akerman and Meryl Borato reveals that youth who accessed this Catholic social services’ program found the YR’s early intervention (shelter diversion) and mental health programs for youth and their family members was effective in keeping at-risk youth connected with their families and communities.
