(Jansen Romero / MANILA BULLETIN) NBI Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin said in a text message on Thursday, Jan. 14, those who have already appeared before NBI investigators were “12 from Room 2207.” It has been learned that Dacera rented with her friends Room 2209 of the City Garden Grand Hotel to celebrate the new year and that they mingled also with occupants of Room 2207. Dacera was found unconscious last Jan. 1 in the bath tub of Room 2209 of the hotel that she rented with her friends to celebrate the new year. She was rushed to the Makati Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival. Lavin said investigators have also invited the men who stayed with Dacera at Room 2209. ....
SunStar (Christine Dacera s Instagram) January 08, 2021 NATIONAL Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Vicente Danao Jr. on Friday, January 8, 2021, said investigators were still identifying seven or eight other people who partied with flight attendant Christine Dacera in a Makati City hotel on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2020. Danao said Dacera went back and forth between her room, number 2209, and another room, number 2207, hours before she was found unresponsive in the bathtub of room 2209. There were 11 people, including Dacera, in room 2209, but only Dacera and four others spent the night. The six others left. There were seven or eight people, including Edward Madrid, in room 2207. Published January 6, 2021, 6:47 PM The Makati City Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, Jan. 6, ordered the release of the suspects in the rape-slay case of flight attendant Christine Dacera as it determined the need to conduct a preliminary investigation over the complaints filed against them, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said. “After a thorough evaluation of the facts and evidence presented during inquest proceedings, the Office of the City Prosecutor, Makati City, resolved to refer the case for further investigation, and to release the arrested persons,” Prosecutor General Benedicto Malcontento said in a statement. Citing a resolution issued by the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office, Malcontento said the Philippine National Police (PNP) was ordered to release suspects John Pascual Dela Serna III, Rommel Galido, and John Paul Halili. ....
