AFP KARACHI: An antiterrorism court has declared 15 absconding suspects as proclaimed offenders for allegedly masterminding and facilitating an armed attack on the Chinese consulate general in Karachi. The Counter-Terrorism Department booked and arrested Mohammad Aslam, Ahmed Hasnain, Ali Ahmed alias Hashim, Nadir Khan alias Arif Buledi and Abdul Latif all said to be associated with the banned separatist Baloch Liberation Army for allegedly facilitating three heavily armed militants who were killed while attempting to enter the Chinese consulate general on Nov 23, 2018 in Clifton. ....
Karachi December 27, 2020 An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday ordered police to approach Interpol for the arrest of Balochistan separatist leader Hyrbyair Marri who has been declared a proclaimed offender in a case pertaining to the attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi. Three heavily armed militants belonging to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) led by Hyrbyair who is living in exile had carried out an attack on the Chinese consulate located in the high-security zone in Clifton Block-4 on November 23, 2018. The attackers, later identified as Abdul Razzaq, Raees Baloch and Azal Baloch, were also killed in a gun-and-grenade fight with police. A large number of weapons, ammunition and explosives were found on the attackers. ....

MOHMAND: The protest sit-in against power outages in Mohmand tribal district continued on the third consecutive day on Thursday. The protesters also blocked the Peshawar-Bajaur highway at Ghundai Kallay for two hours, creating problems for the commuters. Hundreds of vehicles and their passengers remained stranded during the road blockade. On the administration’s assurance to help resolve the issue, the protesters opened the highway after two hours of protest. Sources said that FIRs had also been registered against eight protesters. The area people staged the sit-in on Peshawar-Bajaur highway at Ghundai Kallay in Haleemzai tehsil to protest the prolonged and unscheduled power outages. ....
