Couple dies at chemical factory The couple died of poisoning by an unidentified substance in a chemical factory in Gharo, Thatta HYDERABAD: A couple died of poisoning by an unidentified substance in a chemical factory in Gharo, Thatta district on Monday. The deceased doctors, Syed Abrar Hussain and his wife Rehana Abrar, hailed from Karachi. According to Gharo SHO Mumtaz Brohi, the couple was sitting in their office away from the factory s chemical plant when Dr. Hussain fell unconscious and died. Dr. Rehana breathed her last when she was being shifted to the local rural health centre. The SHO told that the couple owned the factory and visited it at least once a week. It is unclear whether they consumed or breathed poisonous chemicals, which took their lives. The SHO said that the couple s three sons, Arsalan, Lariab, and Junaid, reached the hospital and took away the dead bodies. ....

Kite twine injures man in Mustafabad Lahore January 23, 2021 LAHORE:A 40-year old man was injured by a stray kite twine in Mustafabad police area on Friday. The injured man was identified as Shahbaz. The victim was on his way when his throat was cut by a stray kite string. He was admitted to hospital. CCPO also took notice of the incident. Woman dies: A woman expired in hospital on Friday, 10 days after she was severely beaten by her husband in the Shalimar area. The victim identified as Rehana was severely beaten by her husband on January 13. She was admitted to hospital where he died. Body was shifted to morgue. ....
