Punch Newspapers Sections Published 24 June 2021 Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested two suspected robbers after they had an accident with a stolen vehicle in Ondo State. The third suspect died in the accident, while the gang was escaping with the stolen car. The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed this on Wednesday. Oyeyemi said the incident happened on Sunday when the suspected robbers were involved in a crash. According to the PPRO, the robbers had an accident while escaping with the Toyota Camry car, which they snatched at gunpoint somewhere in Ondo State. ....
By Yekini Alli Last week, in a strategic and visionary move, the governments of Lagos and Ogun states signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on joint development of infrastructure in borderline communities between the states. At a ceremony in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dapo Abiodun inaugurated the Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission (LOJDC). Speaking on the occasion, Sanwo-Olu harped on the megacity status of Lagos and the need for developmental synergy with the neigbouring Ogun.
