As a tenth-grader at Stoneleigh-Burnham School, she worked with the head of the math department to research discrete math and combinatorics advanced concepts that the school doesn’t cover in its curriculum. She also built a Rube Goldberg machine, a contraption intentionally designed to perform a simple task in an extravagant way, and she is president of the Math Club.

Hall-Dale recognizes summa cum laude graduates Ian Stebbins was named valedictorian, and Hunter Lizzotte salutatorian. Share FARMINGDALE Hall-Dale High School has announced its summa cum laude graduates for the class of 2021. The students are listed according to rank. Ian Stebbins Contributed photo Ian Stebbins, the son of Karen and Mark Stebbins of Farmingdale, is an avid soccer, basketball and track athlete. He was a member of the MVC Championship track team, where he set the school record in pole vault. He has also been a part of MVC Championship soccer and basketball teams. He captained all three sports, and was also an integral and supportive member of the Unified Basketball Team.
