Person, dog shot during drive-by in Midwest City, police say © Provided by KOCO Oklahoma City File Photo Police are investigating after a victim and a dog were shot during a drive-by Monday evening in Midwest City. Around 6:15 p.m., the victim and their dog were walking in the 1100 block of Big Oak Drive, near Midwest Boulevard and Reno Avenue, when somebody in a vehicle opened fire, according to police.Sign up for our Newsletters The victim was shot in the hand and suffered injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening. Authorities said the dog is not going to make it.

First responders said a person has died after being hit by a train Tuesday in Oklahoma City. The victim was hit at North Council Road and Melrose Lane, authorities said. Emergency crews responded shortly after 7:30 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said North Rockwell between Northwest 10th Street and Reno Avenue is currently closed.
