Water Service Restored To South OKC Residents

By: Ryan Welton, News 9 OKLAHOMA CITY - UPDATE (10:37 p.m. February 14, 2021): The city of Oklahoma City said late Sunday night that water service has been restored to residents on the south side of OKC. Some residents went without water after the source of their water, the Stanley Draper Treatment Plant, froze on Sunday afternoon. The freezing of the treatment plant also caused other customers to experience low water pressure. The water lines have been repaired. City officials said normal water pressure will follow soon after. Early Morning House Fire Destroys NW OKC Home

Friday, January 1st 2021, 11:51 am By: News 9 Firefighters said a gas heater too close to a wall caused a house fire early Friday morning in northwest Oklahoma City. According to authorities, the back of a home near North Pennsylvania Avenue and Reno Avenue caught fire just after 3 a.m. Fire officials said three people were able to get out of the home. The home is a total loss, firefighters said. No injuries were reported.

SW OKC Family Loses Home In Overnight House Fire

Thursday, December 31st 2020, 6:20 am By: News 9 Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City firefighters said a home near Reno Avenue and South Mustang Road is a total loss after an overnight fire Thursday. Fire officials said the home caught fire from a heating lamp the family left on to keep their dog warm. Firefighters said no one was home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
