Rene Rost Middle School was evacuated due to a bomb threat on Wednesday.
The Vermilion Parish School System says that because of the threat, all students were moved to Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The School dismissed from Holy Rosary Catholic Church at their normal dismissal time of 2:21. The car rider pickup line formed down Church Street.
The Kaplan Police Department placed officers at the school and K9s were on campus for a sweep of the building. ....
