17-year-old Hinesville student killed in car accident

A Hinesville woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on E.G. Miles Parkway while attempting to cross the road, according to Hinesville Police Department Traffic Accident Investigator Cpl. Michael Ramirez.
The woman has been identified as Ayesha Davis who was a student at the Bradwell Institute in Hinesville, according to Liberty County Coroner Reginald Peirce.
According to Ramirez, Davis was struck by a black Hyundai driven by a 56-year-old man while attempting to cross the roadway shortly before 6 p.m.
Davis was transported by ambulance to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville and was pronounced deceased, according to HPD Chief Bill Kirkendall. ....
