The Jatiya Sangsad today reconstituted six parliamentary standing committees on different ministries.
Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury on behalf of Leader of the House and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina proposed the reconstitution.
Later, the proposals were adopted by voice votes with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Awami League MP Tanvir Shakil Joy from Sirajganj-1 was made the member of the parliamentary watchdog on Environment, Forest and Climate Change Ministry while AL MP Mohammad Habib Hasan from Dhaka-18 was made member of the parliamentary standing committee on Textile and Jute Ministry. ....
