Tallahassee Community College will unveil its graduation celebration video at 6 p.m. April 30.
A website www.tcc.fl.edu/2021celebration will include a showcase of messages to graduates and a commencement program flipbook, among other things.
Afterward, a “celebration” package will be mailed to each summer and fall 2020 and spring 2021 graduate.
TCC honoring three graduates Tuesday during special awards ceremony
Tallahassee Community College is honoring three graduates with awards who either began their academic career in the developmental education program or the Eagles RISE Summer Academy during a virtual ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The inaugural Sharisse Bronson Turner Eagles SOAR Award is being presented to Dante’ Dix for his academic and civic achievement since starting in the Eagles RISE Summer Academy.

Nestled among the Walkway of Lights displays at Lakeside Park is Marble Falls’ newest Christmas tradition, an ice skating rink with real ice. Coinciding with the Christmas lights, it’s open through Jan. 2.
The rink has attracted 2,200 visitors since its opening Nov. 20 through Dec. 6.
“We’re doing well on attendance, and it’s been extremely positive so far,” said Director of Parks and Recreation Lacey Dingman. “We’ve got a lot of good compliments about it so far. That’s from residents and from people visiting from other communities.”
