(Photo: India Today) In a shocking case of animal cruelty, a five-month-old labrador-retriever puppy was beaten badly by his owner and almost lost his leg. The incident occurred at Lotus Boulevard, an upscale high-rise apartment in Sector 100, Noida. A video of the incident was shared on social media by a neighbour of the accused, following a massive uproar. The puppy has been rescued with multiple fractures in his rear left femur and now recuperating to his injuries in safe hands.
