October 5, 1951 â February 13, 2021 On February 13, 2021, David passed away in his home with his beautiful bride by his side. David was diagnosed with kidney cancer in February of 2020 and fought hard to overcome this horrible disease. His fighting spirit and positive attitude inspired the many lives he touched during his illness. The focus of this memoriam will not be on his illness. The focus here forward will be squarely on the beautiful and witty person that is David Wayne Metz. David Wayne Metz was born in Amityville, New York, on October 5, 1951. His father, David Wittington Metz, was the sole provider and rock for David and his two brothers. David was the middle son, with older brother James Wittington Metz and his baby brother Thomas âPee Weeâ Metz. ....

Upon Cecil’s retirement in January from his position as executive director of the Delaware Association of Counties, Councilman Mark Schaeffer, District 3, sought to recognize him for more than 40 years of public service and community contributions. Cecil joined DAC in 1989 and became its executive director in 1997. ....

This new non-chill filtered batch was created using mashbills from three different distilleries: Kentucky’s Bardstown Bourbon Company, New York’s Finger Lakes Distilling, and an unnamed Tennessee distillery that, as their press information winkingly insists, is “not located in Tullahoma.” The blend’s bourbon barrels range from four to five years old.
