NOWSHERA: Awami National Party (ANP) provincial president Aimal Wali Khan on Friday said his party won’t allow anyone to steal the people’s mandate in the PK-63 by-election. Addressing a public meeting here in Nowshera Kalan area, the ANP leader said ANP nominee Engineer Mian Wajahatullah would win the Feb 19 by-election by a large majority. He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa never belonged to the ruling PTI and would stay so in future. The Baghdadi police said that the “acid-burnt” body was found at a garbage dump near the slaughterhouse area. It appeared that it was lain there for three to four days. The corpse was shifted to the Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. The boy’s family had lodged a missing/kidnapping report at the Chakiwara police station on Dec 13. The complainant said his son had left the home on Dec 12 but did not return. He suspected that his son might have been ‘kidnapped for some unknown reasons’. ....
